In its response to Covid-19 the nation’s peak health agency AHPRA has allowed a climate of fear and control to overshadow ethics, human rights, and patient-centred care. That has compelled an open letter to AHPRA written by a Defence Veteran, an anonymous Australian Doctor who is Disheartened and Disgusted by and could not accept the Breaches Medical Ethics and Human Rights and the Medical Apartheid, Division and Discrimination that was being instigated. “What is taking place is Abhorrent, Unethical and Inexcusable” the Doctor wrote. Also stated  the Doctor they “could not Accept Mandating Any Medical Procedure and quite simply will not participate in, nor accept the discrimination.” With these final words the Doctor closes out the letter “You have failed me and every citizen of Australia so has resigned 20 years earlier than anticipated”.
