In recent years, the unwillingness of governments to listen to common sense and the lockstep virtue-signalling of global corporations are some of the more obvious signs of a rising outside influence over Western democracies.
The most prominent organisation seeking to impose a globalist agenda on nation states is the World Economic Forum (WEF), which recently held its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
WEF founder and Chairman Klaus Schwab has become something of an internet meme for his Bond-villain-like outfits and his boast of WEF’s ability to “penetrate the cabinets” of national governments through their Young Global Leaders alumni.
ANTI-CAPITALIST, ANTI-FREE MARKET
As Senator for South Australia Alex Antic warned Parliament last year 2021, the WEF might lobby on issues such as climate change, so-called systemic racism and sexism and creating an online digital identity.
However, “closer inspection reveals the World Economic Forum is an anti-capitalist, anti-free market organisation that seeks to subvert Western values and political processes”.

This former Australian Government Minister approved a Chinese company taking over a strategic port.
Here’s yet another instalment of our highly popular series of biographies on key people linked to the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Today’s profile is on an individual who once sat in the Parliament of Australia but, more so, was in charge of trade policy for the nation for almost two-and-a-half years.
During that time they oversaw the approval of a strategic port to a company with key links to the Chinese Communist Party’s military apparatus.

Though he retired from politics in 2016, Andrew Robb AO is one of Australia’s highest-profile politicians to become entangled with the World Economic Forum.
Robb was the federal director of the Liberal Party who oversaw the 1996 Coalition victory.
He won a seat in Parliament himself in 2004, representing the Melbourne electorate of Goldstein, later taking on the Ministry for Trade and Investment (2013 – 2016) under Tony Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull.
Andrew Robb began his career as an agricultural economist with the Victorian Department of Agriculture before tutoring in economics at La Trobe University and then working as an economist for the National Farmers’ Federation.
He went on to become the Executive Director of both the National Farmers’ Federation and the Cattle Council of Australia.
Just before his election to office, Robb was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for service to politics, agriculture and the community.
It was during his time in Canberra that Robb forged ties with the World Economic Forum.
In both 2014 and 2016, Robb attended the annual WEF Davos summit to “represent Australia’s interests”.
Robb forged the controversial China Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) which, with Communist China’s ongoing economic coercion against Australia, has effectively become irrelevant.
The ChAFTA was criticised for allowing Chinese workers to take the jobs of Australians.
The most significant legacy Andrew Robb has left for Australia is his approval of the 99-year Port of Darwin lease to Shandong Landbridge Group, a company with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party, in 2015.
The company has such close ties to the Communist regime that there was even an agreement between Shandong Landbridge and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China for Landbridge to establish an “armed militia” to do the bidding of the PLA.
After Robb quit politics, news emerged that a day before his retirement he took a consultancy contract with Shandong Landbridge Group for a handsome $73,000 a month, or $880,000 a year, plus expenses.
Robb left the lucrative position in 2019, shortly before new foreign interference laws took effect in Australia.

Robb publicly attacked those foreign interference laws.
Today Andrew Robb wears an unusually large number of hats.
He is part owner of The Boathouse Group, which operates restaurants and other venues in Sydney.
Robb is also a Board Member of both the Kidman cattle enterprise and the Network Ten television station.
Additionally, he is the Chairman of both Asialink and CNSDose and a strategic advisor to Beef Innovations Australia.
Happily for the World Economic Forum, Andrew Robb also sits on the Governance and Advisory Board of the ADC Forum, which until 2010 was more transparently called The Australian Davos Connection — but whose aim remains the promotion of the WEF agenda in Australia.
