BAD NEWS even before the investigation starts under Jane Halton: We would have to exclude “National Covid-19 Commission Advisory Board” as Jane Halton, was a commissioner on this Board.

Senator Gerard Rennick said: “A snap inquiry into whether the country has enough COVID-19 vaccines is set to be completed within weeks as urgency grows around a surge in cases. Health Minister Mark Butler rejected speculation of a lack of confidence within the Department of Health after calling a probe into existing vaccine contracts and whether the country has adequate supply in the pipeline.” I have to say I find this inquiry quite intriguing. I thought we had a surplus of vaccines not a shortage but who knows. Jane Halton heading it is not a good look. She played a key role instigating and implementing the Covid government overreach in the first place.

4cminews reports: The Australian Medical Network wrote to the health minister saying that the appointment of Jane Halton to oversee the inquiry into vaccines is inappropriate given her conflicts of interest.

Australian Medical Network wrote a letter opening with: “This week you nominated Jane Halton to lead the inquiry into Covid-19 vaccine contracts and supply. Appointing Ms Halton to this role would be an inappropriate selection because her recommendations would be heavily biased. Appointing Ms Halton would also further destroy any trust Australians have with the government. The reasons for this are as follows.” In closing the Australian Medical Network said: “Appointing Ms Halton to (lead the inquiry into Covid-19 vaccine contracts and supply) this role will be a horrendous mistake and will indicate to Australians that the government does not hold the interest of the public front and centre. During the recent election the Labour government said they would do things differently, here is your chance. With so many alternative treatment innovations available, why is the government only focusing on one approach and appointing people with undeniable conflicts of interest? There are many exceptional professionals capable of delivering this project in an unbiased manner and will be free from any future scrutiny and conflicts of interest.”

Senator Gerard Rennick said he is to organise a meeting with Mark Butler in the first sitting week back so will try to find out more.
