Emna is a Data analyst and Digital and Communications Specialist.
She currently leads “Digital Citizenship Organization” in Tunisia.
She is an active member of several civil society organisations working to make a positive change within the Tunisian society. Her commitment to promote and raise awareness of the Tunisian History drove her to found a cultural organisation – Carthagina.
She was leading the Communications, M&E Analysis and Media Relationship at the British Council in Tunisia.
Emna is an active contributor and community Leader in the Wikimedia movement, an active member and contributor in the Tunisian, Arab and African communities, the Vice-Chair of the Wikimedia Foundation Affiliations Committee.
She was minted Wikimedian of the Year 2019.
She was previously an elected Steering Committee member of the Turkish youth policy initiative Co-Opinion and was also a volunteer with the Social Media Club in Tunisia.
She occasionally writes in her blog and for different media in the MENA region.
Emna is a fellow of the Aspen Ideas Festival of the Aspen Institute and an NGO management alumna of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program of the U.S. Department of State.
Emna holds a Master degree in Communications and a Diploma in Management and Business Practices from The High School of Business Tunis “ESC”.
