2020 JUL 24 Trump, COVID-19 Opening School & GOP Jacksonville Cancelled

BACKGROUND: 

President Trump said that he had cancelled the portion of the Republican National Convention slated for Jacksonville, Fla., citing the virus. Republican delegates will still gather in Charlotte, N.C., he said, but, “we won’t do a big, crowded convention per se — it’s just not the right time for that.”

I would like to see the schools open — open 100 percent. And we’ll do it safely; we’ll do it carefully.
