The New York Times reports that FBI officials wanted to know if Trump is secretly working on behalf of the Rus. The FBI’s concern was rooted in numerous aspects of Trump’s conduct and developments within his 2016 campaign, though it supposedly came to head when the president fired former FBI director James Comey.
“It sorts of confirms what the president has said all along at some of the actors at the tippy-top of the FBI who are no longer there because they were fired and worse,” Conway said. “Some of them were deemed to be leaking and lying, sexting each other obviously with their tremendous biases against this president, so I think it confirms what he said all along about some of those actors.”
